Over the years many major appliance brands have come and gone with many either outright failing or most being bought out then, melted together. Regardless, there really is in fact no too many brands left on the American market. Most are outright faulty in various ways however, the most dependable by far are some of those listed above. You can always count and trust in a GE Monogram or KitchenAid refrigerator. Standard American brands like Frigidaire and the latter two are overall the best investment dollar for dollar. Furthermore, many of the American brands have replacement parts that are made in America and are therefore much cheaper to order and ship. The GE Monogram or built-in KitchenAid units are the Cadillacs of appliances. We would suggest buying American when it comes to appliances. They are far more reliable and again- much, much cheaper to repair since most of the parts come from Kentucky and not Korea.
